Lillies Dream founder
While touring Europe and the US, Luthea Salom, a celebrated singer-songwriter known for her five albums, a film score, and a TV theme song, collaborated with emerging designers who dressed her for the stage, igniting her passion for fashion
As Luthea sought fabrics for her own dresses, she fell in love with the craft, eventually earning a pattern-making degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC
Luthea taught herself to sew and began creating her own stage attire, which led her to start a children’s wear line, driven by her struggle to find well-fitting clothes due to her petite frame

origins
Our journey started on Etsy as a made-to-order children's wear line, emphasizing unique solid colors and elegant, timeless designs. Parents loved our pieces for their quality and style, making them ideal for everyday wear and special occasions. It’s been incredible to see our customers' children grow in our designs year after year
Due to community demand, we expanded our size range to 5Y. As orders increased, we partnered with a facility that could help us create ready-to-ship capsule collections. This partnership allows us to maintain our design and sewing methods, ensuring high quality typically absent in mass production while staying true to our vision
Our
process
We begin our design process in our NYC studio, where our dress form brings our ideas to life with just a pencil and paper. Drawing inspiration from our unique designs, we create pieces that reflect our vision and individuality while exploring fresh styles true to our brand's essence. We prioritize innovation over imitation and focus on crafting one-of-a-kind items
Once the design is finalized, we collaborate with a long-term manufacturing partner to bring each piece to life.
Sampling allows us to carefully review fit, construction, and proportions, making any necessary refinements before moving into small-batch production
We prioritize thoughtful production, working in limited quantities to ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail

Our timeless designs ensure pieces stay relevant and can be handed down through generations. We also pre-wash our garments to maintain their shape and minimize shrinkage
